Basic Miso Soup
This is a basic miso soup made with a combination of bonito and kelp dashi. Please try it with various types of miso.
Ingredients
- Water500ml
- Kombu(dried kelp)5g
- Katsuo-bushi(bonito flakes)10g
- Tofu150g
- Dried wakame seaweed4g
- Miso50g
Recipe
- Make Dashi (Soup Stock) Heat water and kelp in a pot. Remove the kombu before boiling.
- Add Katsuo-bushi once boiling, reduce the heat. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- Strain the dashi.
- Cut into cubes.
- Put Dashi(Soup Stock) in a pot and add tofu and wakame seaweed.
- When the ingredients are cooked, Turn off the heat and dissolve miso into the soup.
- Simmer gently. Turn off the heat BEFORE boiling.
